Kareem Hubbard, MD is a double boarded in physical medicine and rehabilitation and
interventional pain medicine at Spine and Sports Medical Group in Campbell, California.
He completed his PM&R residency at National Rehabilitation Hospital/Georgetown
University in Washington, DC. and his interventional Pain training at the Temple
University in Philadelphia.
Though Dr. Hubbard, trained on the east coast, he is a California native. His father had
served as a physician in Santa Clara County for over 30 years. Dr Hubbard has
returned to Northern California inspired by his father who provided high level care to the
community for the decades before hand. Dr Hubbard strives to do the same for
foreseeable future.
Dr. Hubbard specializes in acute Spine and Musculoskeletal/Sports conditions. He
believes in using his Physiatric (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation) skills to promote
a conservative-lifestyle based, holistic approach to spine and muscle rehabilitation. A
multi-disciplinary approach is taken, with the goal of increasing overall function.
However, when the conservative approach fails to yield long-term pain relief, a high
level of function, and quality of life, Dr Hubbard turns to his cutting-edge, advanced
interventional techniques to help diagnose and alleviate pain.
A few of Dr Hubbard’s interventional techniques include spine, joint, nerve injections as
well as implantable devices such as a spinal cord stimulation.
