Sherman Tran, MD

Dr Tran is a board certified physiatrist (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation)

Dr.  Tran completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern  California in Los Angeles in 1988 and then graduated from Harvard  Medical School in Boston in 1992. After medical school, he trained in  general surgery for three years before switching his career interest to  physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Tran completed his residency  in physical medicine and rehabilitation at Stanford University Medical  Center in Stanford, California, in 1998. 

As founder and president  of Spine & Sports Medical Group, Dr. Tran manages the medical team.  Over the years he has formed close personal relationships with many  patients and remains deeply invested in the care and well-being of each  and every patient who chooses Spine & Sports Medical Group. 

Dr.  Tran's main interest is managing painful spinal discogenic conditions.  He performs all spinal diagnostic blocks and all interventional spine  procedures at the practice. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Tran enjoys spending as much quality time as he can with his family.
